Police Parade 35 Cultists In Warri

Delta State Police Command, Tuesday in Warri, paraded 35 suspected cult members arrested in the city in the wake of recent increased secret cult-related attacks, which have led to several deaths.
Delta State Commissioner of Police, Alkali Baba Usman, who made the disclosure at a briefing in Warri, said the suspects were arrested by policemen attached to Ovwian Aladja Division, Operatives of the Quick Response Squad.

He said the suspects had confessed to the crime, saying one bus with number plates UBJ 449 XA, some weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, white candle sticks, black beret, vest, a bangle and cap with cowries, four Aye Confraternity black berets and one Aye Confraternity singlet were recovered from them.
