Donald Trump has come under fire for an 'outrageous' impression of a disabled New York Times reporter.
The
Republican presidential candidate mocked esteemed journalist Serge
Kovaleski, who suffers from a chronic condition that affects the
movement in his arms, during a speech on Wednesday.
Trump has repeatedly cited a Washington Post article written
by Kovaleski a week after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on
New York, which says 'a number of people ... were allegedly seen
celebrating' in New Jersey.
But
after Trump claimed he saw 'thousands of thousands' of Arabs
celebrating the attacks in New Jersey, Kovaleski came forward to say he
did not recall seeing or being told about anything remotely like that.
