Photo: Charlie Hebdo Marks One Year Of Terror Attack On Its Offices With A More Deviant Cover

To mark the one-year anniversary of the terror attack on its offices, French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo released a special edition cover today featuring a caricature of a god with a rifle slung over his shoulder. The words
"One year on: The assassin is still out there" caption the drawing. The 32-page copy accuses Islamic fundamentalists, organized religion, an irresolute government and intelligence failures for the 2015 violence in France by Muslim extremists.
17 people were murdered at Charlie Hebdo and at a kosher supermarket two days later. They were among the first victims of a string of attacks by Islamic terrorists in France last year that ultimately left at least 147 people dead and hundreds of others injured.
