Antoine Griezmann Hints He Wants To Join Paul Pogba At Manchester United

Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has invited Manchester United to try and sign him after revealing he is keen to play alongside Paul Pogba at club level one day. Griezmann, 25, is one of the most sought-after players in world football and has been tipped to challenge for the Ballon d'Or award once Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo's dominance ends. The France international even overshadowed the duo at La Liga's recent 2015-16 season gala, claiming the league's best player award ahead of the Barcelona and Real Madrid superstars.
Inevitably, he has been linked with moves away from Atletico, where he is contracted until 2021 with Manchester United and Jose Mourinho reportedly among his suitors. Chelsea however are also known admirers, with the Daily Telegraph suggesting in September the Blues will match any offer United make for the forward.
Griezmann is currently with the France squad ahead of Friday's World Cup qualifier with Sweden where he has been reunited with Paul Pogba, the man who became the most expensive footballer on the planet last summer.
While at France's training camp at Clairefontaine, Griezmann has been taking the chance to quiz Pogba on life at United and it could be Mourinho's side that hold the advantage if he decides to leave Atletico.

Speaking to Sky Germany, Griezmann said: "I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United. I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure. I ask Paul about some of the players and if they are really that good, or if Jose Mourinho is really that good.
"You hear a lot of things about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don't see me moving to a new club. But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day."
Any decision Griezmann takes on his future is likely to hinge on the future of Atletico boss Diego Simeone. The Frenchman has made no secret of the fact his continued presence at the Vicente Calderon is intrinsically linked to that of the Argentine, even calling his coach before signing his new contract to ensure he was not moving on himself.
