Diego Costa has been the arrowhead of Chelsea's title charge this season
with 13 goals to his name and the club is set to reward his
performances on the pitch with a bumper pay rise. Chelsea want to offer
the 28-year-old a two-year extension to his deal that expires in 2019.
He is currently paid £150,000 a week, but can expect a
significant upgrade on that figure if he agrees fresh terms. The
prolific attacker has started every game for the London side this season
but will sit out the tie against Bournemouth this weekend with a
suspension.
